Host downloads for your Mac app (.pkg, .dmg, .zip)
A Mac app you distribute outside the App Store needs a place to download it from and a page that explains it. heremyapp gives you both: your coding agent uploads the installer and the landing page, and you get a download link that always points to the newest version.
How it works
- Build and sign. Your agent bumps the version and build number, builds the
.pkgor.dmg, and checks the Developer ID signature and notarization (you keep control of your Apple credentials). - Upload. The agent registers the file with its size and SHA-256 and uploads it. Large files are sent in parts. heremyapp verifies the checksum and the file type before publishing it.
- Link. The landing page's download button points to a permanent link such as
heremyapp.com/dl/you/your-app/latest/YourApp.pkg, which always serves the newest version.
Tell your agent:
Build my app's installer, publish it on heremyapp as a new version, and point the landing page's
download button at it. Read https://heremyapp.com/docs/installers.md first. What your users get
- HTTPS downloads from a fast global network, with resumable transfers for large files
- A fixed link for every version (
/v/1.2.0/YourApp.pkg) and a "latest" link for the newest one - The SHA-256 checksum on every download, so careful users can verify the file
- Release notes and version numbers on the page, kept up to date by the agent
What you get
- Download counts and bytes served per version, which your agent can read from the API and report to you
- Versions that cannot be overwritten, so a published link never changes its file
- Removal of a version at any time (its link then returns "gone")

FAQ
Where can I host a .dmg or .pkg download for my Mac app?
On heremyapp. Your AI coding agent uploads the installer, and you get a permanent "latest version" link plus a landing page for the app. Bandwidth is not billed.
Does heremyapp sign or notarize my app?
No. Signing and notarization stay with you and your Apple Developer account. The agent checks the signature before uploading and asks you before publishing an unsigned installer.
Can I use the same link for every new version?
Yes. The "latest" link always serves the newest published version, so links in posts, emails and app update prompts keep working.
